Ridgeside Retreat
A California-style mountain retreat was the wish of the owners of this modern home unfolding alongside the highest ridges within The Cliffs’ Mountain Park community. Our design-build team responded with clean lines and an open floor plan positioned for spectacular mountain and sunset views.
The main level of Ridgeside Retreat seamlessly connects the indoors with outdoor living. The great room extends from the versatile kitchen and dining area to gathering spaces that are both intimate and inviting, with a wine feature gracefully flanking the contemporary stairway. Dramatic cloud-style lighting is the living area’s centerpiece while crystal statement pendants illuminate the stairs and wine feature.
The front entry is framed by a living wall feature, with live moss embedded and irrigated from floor to ceiling on both sides of the front door. The stone fireplace, hearth and surround are charcoal grey offset by built-in floating shelves for displaying artful collectibles.
Oversized windows and glass doors beckon guests to an expansive outdoor living oasis, complete with infinity pool, hot tub, elevated fire pit in addition to the outdoor kitchen and open/covered gathering spaces, all unfolding across imported marble tile, amid manicured and irrigated gardens and potted plants. A screened porch offers retractable screens and a fireplace when temperatures dip lower in the winter months.
The primary suite enjoys the same sunset views lingering on the marble terraces, adjacent to a luxe primary bath, his and her walk-in closets and dressing rooms and a private corridor featuring an informal study.
The upper level of the home is dedicated to guests, with multiple bedrooms, baths and casual bonus room that features a loft-style bedroom, extending guest capacity with compact privacy.
Ridgeside Retreat offers unique storage solutions with its back kitchen, butler’s pantry, laundry and mud rooms, in addition to the spacious three-car garage.
