Highview Haven
Perched atop the Cliffs at Glassy, Highview Haven is a custom mountain retreat designed to embrace its breathtaking setting, where clouds drift past windows and panoramic valley views stretch endlessly below.
The home reflects a deep respect for its environment, blending elegance, comfort, and thoughtful detail throughout. The exterior pairs classic stonework with warm shake siding, grounding the structure in timeless materials. Inside, walls of glass frame expansive vistas and flood the interiors with natural light, creating a seamless connection to the sky and landscape.
At the heart of the home, a chef’s kitchen balances artistry and utility. A sculptural custom range hood and waterfall-edge island add a modern edge, while the kitchen and dining area open into a lounge and full bar—each space connected by retractable glass walls that dissolve the boundary between indoors and out. When open, the entire level transforms into one continuous, open-air living experience, ideal for entertaining against the ridgeline backdrop.
Every detail was curated with care: a hallway wine cooler adds convenience, while arched openings and statement chandeliers elevate circulation spaces. A sleek elevator and custom metal staircase provide elegant vertical movement through the home.
Upstairs, a bunk room adds playful flexibility, and a tranquil office offers a focused retreat with sweeping mountain views. Personal touches—including subtle golden retriever motifs—honor the homeowners’ beloved pet, infusing the home with warmth and story.
From golden mornings in the kitchen to glowing sunsets on the patio, Highview Haven was designed to celebrate life above the clouds. This project included full-service residential design and comprehensive construction management, ensuring cohesion from initial vision to final finish. The result is a home where innovation, craftsmanship, and natural beauty converge in harmony.
Highview Haven is a fully custom home, built with architectural design details and construction management by Gabriel Builders, interior design by Lauren Heather Design Studio, and custom woodwork by Nicholas James Fine Woodworking.
